Please note that codes cannot be used in conjunction with vouchers.
I personally don't even like redballoon, but someone gave me a voucher that I should use, so i have to check it out every now and again.

It's mainly personal choice, but i have a general dislike for being gifted a voucher for a specific shop, because it forces me to buy from that place.
As for Redballoon itself, it has limited options for WA. (You may think that this says more about WA than it does about redballoon, but I assert that it doesn't).
Codes such as the one I pasted in the OP, cannot be used in conjunction with gift vouchers.
All of the items in the 'products' section are way overpriced.
I can't compare redballoon to any other similar 'experience' site.Unless it is a live booking, it's just credit you can use for anything on their site including gift vouchers to other people. The specific shop that you get is just what they bought you, you can use it for anything. It's why redballoon is good. I got a box of wine from someone's voucher who wanted me to go on a jetski ride. I love them, can go on wine tours, beer tours etc. Sure if you are in WA and there's nothing avail that sucks. Just regift haha
You know what else is credit you can use for anything? Money.
@Cronium: Notting is now personalised than cash. Imagine the thought behind it.
I've tried using a voucher with a code before and it applied the voucher before the code. (For example: an experience costs $100, you have an $80 voucher and a code for 20% off. Rather than costing $0, it would cost you $16 as they only apply the discount to the remaining $20).

Whats your reason for not liking red balloon? Interested to hear as I have not used it before
