I bought one when it was $9.99 and gifted it to the op shop as it was too wide for the intended application.

    • +2

it was perfect for my study purpose, can use laptop and Ipad or Tab S4 side by side for note taking or even skin mirroring or as a second display.

      • how do you use yours?

        • +1

          on bed, on sofa.

          • +5

@[Deactivated]: I found it was too tall to use while sitting on a sofa or bed.

            • @spiff: I think it is subjective, very fit for my purpose though, wide enough to be productive for me, can use a laptop on the bed and take note at the same time.

              • @[Deactivated]: For sofa and bed which is soft and you sink down in, it wasn't ideal. But I'm 175cm tall. If you're at least 185cm tall then it's probably ideal.

                • @spiff: I am 180 cm haha!

        • +1

I learnt a lot from this thread. I'm too short and only have a single bed where I do my study. I also don't have a gf etc etc etc :P

          • +1

@bailbondsh: you are supposed to learn from objective materials, OZbargain & OZbargainers are very subjective mate. Learn first to learn.

    • This is a good point, it's basically laptop+mousepad width.
If you look at the image preview, the laptop lives on the tilty bit and you put the mouse on the flat part.

Fyi this is way too tall to use on the bed. Also pretty wide. It's a decent quality product, but totally useless for what I got it for.

    • +1

I think it’s just the right height for use in bed.

    • DO you know any good options for bed?

    • Definitely agree, it is too tall and therefore a little awkward to use

    • According to OP the height is 27cm when legs are fully extended. To me, that is not a lot. If you extend your legs under the desk, should still be a low enough height to bend arms at 90 degrees for use?

PS considering this for wife so want to make sure I am not buying junk.

      • +1

You're right, if you're using it while sitting on the floor. But if you're sitting on a couch or bed where you sink down further than the table sinks down, then it can be too tall.

        • +1

Yep, I have a zzz atelier black mattress and I have no chance of being able to use my laptop for gaming with this. If I collapse the legs so they are partially closed underneath my legs it's possible, but not even slightly stable.

          • @Hardicus: Thanks! I might give it a miss then. She is not that tall to take the risk.

    • Thanks for this intel.

  • +3

Yep. Collecting dust from the previous deal.

buy another to hold your current one! #ergonomical

        What does this even mean?

  • How does it perform when used as a rudimentary standing desk solution?

    • Pretty good if you're <1m tall.

      • Depends how tall your desk is!

        • How high is it (horizontal surface) when the legs are fully extended?

  • Looks heavy

    • It's not

      • Rubbish. It weighs a ton.

        • 3.4kg*

        • +1

          Do you even lift

        • Do u even lift m8?

          • @montorola: If you're asking me, I bought one in January deal. Super large, super heavy. Can't think of how anyone would use it. Also, super cheap at that price.

        • Agree.

  • +2

Got one last time, good quality, used daily by the kids.

    • May I ask how and where the kids use it?

      • +2

On the bus, at swim practice, the usual places.

        • :)

        The crack den.

      • They sit with it on the floor, mostly for watching their tablet.

  • Expired? I see $26

    • I just check cost is $13.99 now. Maybe they had more clearance stock?

      • Just added some extra stock for ya!

        • Gone back to $26. Appreciate you could some more. Thanks.

  • just snagged one. no issue.

  • +1

    I use mine as a sofa armrest/table.

If the arms of your sofa are wide enough, just put it on top, pull one of the legs down before the front of the sofa and away you go.

  • +1

    so good

  • Got one last time. Partner doesn't like it as it's too tall. Friend got a much nicer solid bamboo one that was height adjustable for $25 at Cheap as Chips

  • +1

please include postage costs in deal

    • If you are prime member it is included.

    • Wrong deal ignore me

  • Thanks Op. Bought 2 as gifts previously and got one for myself.

  • +1

    • Next deal)

  • sorry why are we angling the table? This desk confuses me

  • that sucks expired back to $26

  • Need more at 13!!!!

  • Dammit, missed the last time it was listed and now missed it again.:-(

  • Bugger, missed it :(

  • I'm sad.. I was looking at these desks on eBay the day before. One day I don't look at ozbargain I miss out T_T

  • We are looking at our next laptop table for the range, a similar sized 100% Bamboo laptop table for approx $16 as an ozbargain special, what are your thoughts and what are people looking for?
    Thank you <3
