      Quite correct
      The dessert - meringue with fruit and cream - was named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, who visited (Oz & NZ) in the 1920s.

      Oxford English Dictionary determined NZ created the Pav & Woolies developed the Pav without any filling!

      I think (long gone like Pavlov & his dogs) Pal dog food was named after Pavlov🐶🔔😀
