Battery Issue/Replacement for Acer ES1-411-C1WD

HI All

My wife has an el cheap Acer ES1-411-C1WD (bought almost 3 years ago via ozb) that now doesnt work in battery mode - plugged into AC its all good, but i guess either the battery isnt charging or it isnt being recognised. ANyone else have this issue? I was planning on buying a new battery (only $25 on ebay) but am not sure if that will fix it. Any help?

    Probably dead battery, but try cleaning the terminals first

    I bought the same laptop from the same deal way back when. It also has a dead battery. Luckily I bought 2 of these and was able to determine that it was indeed the battery. Not sure if it would be the same in your case though.

      Thanks for that - I guess for $25 its probably worth a punt…..
