Has anybody else been receiving regular spam sms messages from the One Nation party? Any idea how to stop these? I have tried replying with the words stop and unsubscribe. Have also blocked their number but it comes for a different number each time.
Ironically these messages actually decrease the chance of me voting for them - that’s some effective marketing for you.
They are allowed to send it as long as the message identifies itself as coming from a registered political party.

Unlike commercial sms messages, they are not required to provide an unsubscribe function. So unfortunately there is no way to force them to stop.
Clive Palmer sent sms messages promising if you vote for him he will change the legislation so they are not allowed to send SMS messages

It may be worth writing to the political party of your preference, or your local Member saying you are in favour of unsolicited political sms being banned.
