One of Flight Leg Operated by Budget Subsidiary

Hi guys, I would like to get an opinion if anyone has experience with this. If we book multi city airfare through for example skyscanner and one of the leg is operated by budget airline, will the checked in baggage allowance be included? In my case in particular, I see a flight with Singapore Airline but some legs labeled as "operated by Scoot" … I wonder if the checked in baggage allowance is included in the booking. Thanks.

Yes- the checked baggage will be included. I flew with Singapore Airlines recently from Perth & connecting flight was operated by Scoot. I didn't have to pay extra for luggage on Scoot. However I did check in my baggage to the final destination.

As long as it's all on one ticket with a Singapore Airlines flight, you should have luggage through-check. The FlyBagEat fare is included as well on Scoot which gives you a baggage allowance and food options.

I also did a dummy booking and it looks like you'll get the higher Singapore Airlines allowance for the whole journey.
