It says that the winner will be published on smithsfortune.com.au, on the 5/6. Does that mean that you have to go to the web site to see if you have won. Will they contact you if you win, maybe, maybe not
It than says “winner must claim their prize by 15/9/19”, why do they have to claim it, why don’t they just send the money to the winner. They take your name, phone and email address, why not your home address and just send it to the winnerI think Smiths are doing everything they can not to pay anyone, but that’s just my opinion.

I won a samsung s6 through V energy a few years ago and had to have proof of purchase.
It seems self-explanatory by virtue of what you say about keeping the receipt that the larger winners will need to "claim" by tendering their receipt or a copy.
Always have to keep your receipts for major prize draws, it's a standard thing
And of course they wouldn't make $1mil easy to win
My guess is that many of these 'chance to win' type competitions are now underwritten by a third party risk specialist/lotto insurance type, so the receipt is necessary. The receipts also prevent 3+ entries using the same packet.
Could you just stand in the aisle of Coles and enter barcodes until you win? (then buy that pack of chips)

Because they'd make you provide 47 (or however many it took) receipts, not just the winning one.
Not sure whether to enter in the Barcode on the pack itself which is the same for each type of product or receipt.. I think it is for the 5 last digits on the receipt but I tried the last 5 digits on a pack and didn't win then tried same number again and now the wheel is stuffed lol.
Is it just me, or does this comp seem like it's rigged? With a winner every 3 minutes on average, I would have thought plenty of us would have reported winning at least $20 by now.

All products have an allocated barcode, which will be the same across that particular flavour variant.this is stated on the FAQ's page?? really so only one paticular flavour wins?
