PC Case with 10-12 3.5" Drive Bays for a NAS

Hi all,

After recommendations for a case that can hold a minimum of 10 3.5" hard drives, and being ozbargain I'm looking for where to get it at the best price! Needs to fit a m-atx motherboard with good air cooling. Preferably screwless hot swappable drive bays but open to traditional screw in if that's all that's around.

You'll want something like the Silverstone DS380 or Fractaldesign 804. Try asking around Technocity if you're in Sydney CBD.

The Fractal Design Define R6 can hold a maximum of 11 3.5" HDD's but it only comes with 6 HDD trays so you would need to purchase the rest separately which cost's $29 for two trays.

SilverStone Case Storage Series CS380, with 8x3.5" hot-swap drive bays and 2x5.25" drive bays. It's selling for $159 at Scorptec.

Get an old cooler master stacker case, they are the best by far, can hold 12 x 3.5"

Screw the bays! Where are you going to get the SATA ports and SATA Power connections from!? Not from the motherboard or PSU! Either buy an actual NAS multi-bay enclosure, or buy fewer, larger HDD's, they come in 10TB+ each now. Or both.

Thanks for all the comments, I already have all the hardware, the additional drives are running off pci-e days controllers. I've just had a hard drive failure and realised how much of a pain it was to replace the drive in the current case so wanted to get something easier to work with.
