Boy got a smartphone and cracked it two weeks later, before I was able to put the gorilla glass on it.
telstra says $200 to fix it.
googling seems to indicate a diy fix is a very delicate job, probably beyond us.
Only idea I have is to stick the gorilla glass onto it anyway but it has been suggested to me that'd make things worse: causing the shards to come away, glass and all.
But I found one web page that said might as well do it.
Just asking around, see if anyone has any better ideas?
For a $200 phone, I don't think there is much that you can do that will cost less than the time, money and effort to replace the screen
