You know the 7-Eleven app…
I use two profiles, one for mum and one for myself. I lock her fuel price in often but she never seems to use the coupons. Hence I was logged into her profile to use her coupon to pay for her fuel. I ended up using two of the coupons to buy us an ice cream each.
A few days later, I wanted an ice cream so I went into 7-Eleven and opened up my app. I scrolled to my ice cream coupon and the barcode refused to display. It came up with something similar to 'Error - Please try again later'. I tried clearing the cache, un-install and re-install etc. Nothing worked!
Hence… I opened up NOX on my desktop, logged into my profile on the 7-Eleven app. Clicked on the ice cream coupons on a whim and the barcode displayed on my computer!
Hang on a second…
I went back into my 7-Eleven app on my phone and now all the barcodes that previously showed 'Error' are now coming up loud and clear! I must of refreshed it when I went into the used ones on NOX using my desktop!
Hence I can now have more ice cream! I assume this will work for any special 7-Eleven have. So if you have multiple 7-Eleven profiles you can now get the same deal more than once, or twice etc :)
I don't think it will work. My scenario is slightly different from yours. I had a free coffee in my app and i used it. After using it, the free coffee promotion was still there and did not disappear. Few days later i tried using that promotion again and scan it at the store, the store attendant advised that "promo has been redeemed" despite it was still in my app, showing its barcode and within expiry date. It was simply because the app did not remove the promo upon redemption. You can try yours if you like and report back.
