So far I have seen two Nando's stores taken over by Capricho (Melb Central & Port Melbourne).
I tried it for the first time yesterday. I was severely disappointed.
The habanero sauce was bland and unsatisfying. More creamy than acidic, and hot was not hot.
Chicken itself was okay but slightly under grilled - could have just been this one time.
Chicken size i think just slightly larger - not sure if cooked in same style of oven.
Bring back my Nando's =(

Isn't it just be a couple of store-fronts taken over by a different (but with similar products) franchise? Those locations could have been owned by the same owner, who has just changed which franchise they are part of.
I'm still seeing Nando's in a lot of places.
true, i think it's a small sample so far. but seems to be the stores i frequent.

They probably think the new franchise won't force them to do million-dollar renovations to comply with a new look and feel after a few years.
Just went to the Glen Waverley store. Had wings and rsalsa rice side plus drink special for $10.90. Way better than Nando’s. The hot sauce was good. Mild sauce was creamy and not that good. Wings were grilled.

aaah yes! I tried it at MC and was disappointed! The layout is the same and they've simply rebranded the whole store and given it a new menu with similar, but renamed, items.
