i've never used a wrist one, but apparently devices that measure blood pressure on the upper arm give more reliable readings.
still very cheap, the aldi wrist one a short while back was $39 (?)
i bought the aldi one and returned back as it was errant on the readings. I think these things are just toy, never to be believed.

These cheap wrist monitors are hopeless. Measure your blood pressure twice and you will get two totally different reading. Saying that, even more expensive ones - are not reliable either.
Waste of money and potential health problems if you take a medicine based on the pressure reading you get form this monitor.
Taking into account the potential for death, is it a good idea for anyone with a blood pressure problem to use some cheap unbranded Chinese product from an overseas website to monitor their blood pressure?
