Mine still going strong from your previous post. Can't beat $6.01 Profit.

    • +2

That's probably one of my personal favourite deals so far, this iron is insanely good, $6.01 profit was ridiculous.

      • That deal was awesome.
There was a Nespresso coffee machine deal for $6 or $9 delivered.
Socks from mitchdowd for $0 delivered.

        Those were my favourite deals!

    • Wait! Was it $23.99 in that deal before the $30 cashback? Damn! Where was I that day? lol

    • -1

I bought 3 from that deal lol

  • +1

I bought this and it leaked. I got a refund and binned it

  • +3

Does anyone else have a problem with theirs leaking? I bought one about a year ago.

    • +2

Yes sometimes if you leave it flat it will leak.

      • Read the manual. Keep it upright until heated

    • +1

      Mine leaks too

    • +1

Same here. Mine even have broken purple plastic pieces in the water reservoir.

  • +2

I got one of this and it leaks. Anyone know how to deal with it?

    • +5

Whisper sweet things into its ear.

If that fails, keep it upright and avoid leaving it flat.

  • Purchased this last week, hoping I'm eligible for the cashback too

    • +1

If you purchased after 4/3/2019, you'll be eligible :)

This iron SUCKS. It's weighted so poorly that its highly unstable when standing on its heel. It's bad enough using it yourself, it's a disaster waiting to happen if left alone while turned on or used near kids (i make sure i do neither)

It's so horrific, genuinely one of the worst designed products I've ever seen, I've got to neg for product issues even if it is nominally a good price

    Oh, and it leaks.

    Sorry doweyy, it's not you.

    • +2

Very useful to get feedback from an owner. Now I know not to bother. Thanks.

    • +1

Agree completely, bought mine during last sale and it leaks terrible and even on low temps it scorches fabric and the baseplate constantly needs cleaning. Rubbish product.

    • +4

No iron in the world can be considered stable when standing on its heel. One has to be careful with using any iron near kids, not just this brand. And it doesn't leak. You need to learn to use iron. Probably open that manual if it's still in box.

      • +9

Agreed. Need to read the manual. Leakage happens when it is placed face down is because the iron is not warm.

I used this every week to iron and never had a problem with leakage.

        • +1

The couple times mine leaked was after I finished ironing, switched steam to off, then placed the iron face down to cool.
I suspect it holds an amount of water for steam and that leaked out.

        • +1

This leaks all the time regardless of how long you wait to heat it up, it’s a junk iron hence why it is always on a ridiculous sale price.

      • +1

I disagree. It's quite obvious from the pictures of this iron that it's far less stable than heaps of others on the market. My Philips iron has a much larger heel and low center of gravity, and you'd have to knock it right off the ironing board to upset it.

      • -2

Thanks for being a smart ass. I've read the manual. Of course all irons are unstable, but this thing is a whole new level of unstable

      • My Phillips is stable.

    • +1

Buy a different one. Don’t keep using it if it is so bad.

      • Yes of course. I bought this to get a better iron to encourage me to iron. The heat is good but it isn't the right iron even when i do it after the kids are asleep. Now im back to using someone cheap on gumtree.

    • +1

I personally haven't had an issue with the stability of the iron, my ironing board is quite rocky itself and not once have I thought it would fall off, not as bad as you described at least.

  • -1

I am looking for an ironing station can anyone recommend one? Under $300 if possible.

  • +1

    Thanks OP, ordered one

  • +2

    Have two and works great

  • -1

Damn, after seeing the negative feedback, I'll have to get something else for the missus' birthday.

  • I have one from a previous deal. It is not that great. It leaks, and takes an age to heat up.

  • Seems to be out of stock. Strangely it stills comes up under Other Sellers from Amazon AU but pressing the Add To Cart button just tells me my cart is empty.

  • +1

Have owned this for a year and a half or so from a previous deal - it's absolutely brilliant. can't recommend it highly enough. it's fast and efficient with ironig. heats up extremely fast. good steam. i haven't had any issues with it.

i've never had a leak issue personally, and don't find the iron to be any more or less stable on it's heel than other irons. it's never tipped over or fallen.

  • Bought this in a previous deal and it's been great for me. I don't find it unstable and I have no leaks. Do note that I always store it standing up and not plate down. It irons a lot better than my previous 10yo iron even thought it didn't seem to be built as well since it had more plastic. But despite more plastic body the actual ironing performance was an upgrade so pretty happy with it.

  • Purchased this last deal, works awesome. Mind isn't unstable at all and doesn't leak!

  • Grabbed one this morning, thx op. $89 before cash back on GGs.

    • GG price matched at 53.29?

      • +1

No didn’t bother trying - bought from Amazon.

  • Just filled the cashback form online. Any idea how long it takes for the money to reach my account from previous experiences?
