I am looking for a Data SIM for my iPad, found this deal on Vodafone.
Basically $15 for a starter pack, get you 30GB for 30 days
By recharge $60, get you additional 12GB and extend the expiry for another 365 days.
So total you spent $75, and get 42GB for 395 days
Vodafone Prepaid Data SIM Starter Pack $15 30GB / 30 Days (or $75 42GB / 395 Days)

does the 30GB rollover into the remaining 335 days?
edit: "You can rollover up to 50GB of unused data in Australia if you recharge before your expiry date"
Exactly as you mentioned above, should be able to rollover. Basically get 42GB for 395 days
It depends on whether the 25gb is "bonus data" or not; bonus data does not roll over AFAIK
Geez your comment got me worry for a second, until I found this in the T&C:
"… Unused inclusions and bonus data rolls over when recharge is made before the expiry …"Super. Maybe they changed it. I have lost bonus data recharging before.
@Fiximol: Sorry to hear that mate. Glad that they changed it.
unless you need the data tomorrow or next week, wait for another $40 or $50 starter kit sale.
$40 kit was selling $9.9 two weeks ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/440788
The deal you mentioned is for normal SIM, and I believe it has 30 days expiry instead of 365 days expiry (correct me if I am wrong).
This deal is for Data SIM only. (can't make phone call or use on the phone. Only for tablet or modem)
OP do you know if this data SIM has an expiry date for activation or can I just keep it for a rainy day? I couldn’t find anything in the terms and conditions that stated it needed to be activated by a certain date (only date mentioned was about the bonus data).
I just received my starter pack, it stated that "Starter pack expires 365 days after purchase if not activated"
Btw my pack has a manufacture date of 28/Nov/2018. Not sure whether this is the date or the purchase date. Thanks for letting me know.
If you only need the 30 days wouldn’t $5 for 40gb on Kogan be better?

buy 2 voda $50 sim starter pack. (cost $43.80)
activate one first before 14/05/2019, you will get 20GB
activate the other after the first expire, you can get 10GB (at least, maybe you can get the bonus data)
It means that you pay $43.80 and you get 30GB(at least) in 360 days.
I wish you have comment to my post two days earlier. I just got my starter pack. Damn.
Looks like 30gb for $15 is the new baseline (well $13 if you got those belong deals…)
