Oz Sale Exclusive - Further Sale on the Bellman Espresso and Steamer - Ideal for home or camping latte coffee!

With the Bellman Espresso & Steamer CX 25P, you’ll never be a few simple steps away from rich and delicious espresso and steamed milk. Create espresso and steamed milk that will rival your favorite local cafe – all with the heat of your stove.

This espresso maker brews espresso that’s akin to the stove top espresso you could get from a moka pot. It’s intense, it’s topped with crema, and it’s great alone or paired with milk. Brew anywhere from 3-9 cups and serve the whole crew.

The attached pressure gauge lets you know exactly when enough pressure is built up to brew a balanced shot. It also tells you just the right moment to stop brewing.

The cafe-style steam wand is designed to rival commercial espresso machines. With it, you’ll be able to create that creamy, silky steamed milk you love in cappuccinos and flat whites.

Bellman Brewing Instructions:

Add water to the reservoir for your desired yield.
Add ground coffee using one of the pre-measured scoops based on your desired yield.
Place the Bellman Espresso & Steamer CX 25P on high heat.
Just before the gauge reads green, let the espresso fall into a mug and maintain the pressure at the start of the green zone until you have poured the espresso. Remove from heat if need.
Place the unit back on heat until the gauge reads near the top of the green zone, and use the steam wand to froth milk in a jug. Add steamed, frothed milk to your espresso and enjoy!
This espresso maker and steamer works with induction, gas, and electric stovetops. If you find yourself camping, it’ll work over a fire as well, making delicious campsite coffee a reality. The stainless steel body and bakelite construction will serve you for decades.

Never heard of this, instructions look so complicated and its not cheap. Is this really better than just pressing a button for a cup of espresso?

    • Regarding the ease of use, I think the little quote below says it all. More distributors should be so forthright!

"With the Bellman Espresso & Steamer CX 25P, you’ll never be a few simple steps away from rich and delicious espresso…"

… but you might be numerous complex, time-consuming and frustrating steps away?

But in its defense, its not intended to be a kitchen coffee machine replacement… try putting your DeLonghi on the campfire.

      • wow relax..you have shares in this product or what? lol. ok got your point, great stuff. I agree.

  • where do i put the straw?

I've had this (well the model below without the temperature gauge) for about 4-5 years and use it daily to steam milk for my chai's and coffee's, and well for me its super useful. The coffee machine didn't come with a steaming wand hence why I got this. Can't comment on the coffee making side this Bellman can do, however it's supposedly useful for camping as you use a stovetop.

In terms of steaming milk and the construction of this product, totally recommend it.

  • Is this similar to an Atomic coffee machine?

    Looks much smaller

  • I just looked at the video.
I guess this is more a win for frothing milk but for extracting coffee, cremation time, too hot.
For home, the ROK, for camping I would go the AeroPress. If you're camping, where the hell would you get the milk from unless you start chasing a cow in the paddock next door.

NOTE: When I say home, I mean when you don't purchase a non-portable machine.
I would recommend spending the money (under $700 on good days) and buying a Breville BES 920 every time.

How they price these things is mind-boggling

    Just putting things to perspective

    https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/kitchen/c… - $269
    https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/kitchen/c… - $149
    https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/kitchen/c… - $119

These are all espresso machines, yes MACHINES, that are tested and recommended by Choice. May be I don't understand this alternative brewing stuff!

  • Some of us are very precious about our coffee and having had cheap espresso machines and now a very expensive one, I can tell you it makes a difference when a good machine is matched with a good grinder. Mine are better than most shops.

I recently took a Nespresso machine with me on holidays - never again….I don’t know how I used to drink it before. (must sell it).

I suspect getting this just right will be difficult but the pressure is linked to the heat and maybe with a well ground coffee it could be okay - well better than Nespresso or instant! The only issue is the delay between making the coffee and getting steam for the milk - same as single boiler machines.

  • I'm taking one with a Breville Smartgrinder (had a spare one, not exactly easy to tuck into luggage though) to Europe for use in a motorhome. The French make lousy coffee.

I got it because it'll work on a flame and steam milk. Hopefully after a while I'll get a decent cup out of it.
