Does anybody want to go in on a group buy of these? They are discontinued and very hard to find. The watermelon flavour is the best but haven't been able to find anyone selling them, so strawberry is the next best. (Orange is pretty good and I already ordered a bulk lot from the U.S.).
I found a pretty cheap place that is selling them ($2.05 each, a few other places have them listed around $3 for retail sales or about $1.80 wholesale) but free postage only on orders of $150+. http://www.allstationerysupplies.com.au/ProductInfo.aspx?id=…
Given I still have 45 boxes of the orange I don't REALLY need $150 worth of the strawberry so maybe someone might like to buy some with me. I don't mind paying upfront and dropping your share off to you and collecting the money (no risk to you, as I don't mind keeping the lot if you reneg on your end of the bargain). They have Freshmint and Spearmint flavours too, but if you want those I would like the money upfront as I would not like to eat those.
Why is it worth buying these as opposed to something that's not discontinued? The flavour is soft and subtle, it is made of xylitol which actively kills mouth bacteria so less plaque, sore throats, ear infections and gingivitis risk (not a replacement for tooth brushing but helps), sugar free, so although it contains calories (40% of sugar), it doesn't affect your blood sugar so excellent for diabetics, they're only tiny so you don't have to commit to a huge lolly that you have to suck on for ages, they're soft and can be chewed up if you need to get rid of it quickly (about to speak), they don't get stuck in your teeth like chewy mentos, they come in little tins which are great so you can have one in your pocket, one in your bag, one at work, one in the car etc, and the tins themselves snap close securely and are great for storing SD cards, USB sticks, nintendo or vita cartridges, screws, nails, keys, batteries, paperclips, or any little thing that you want to keep together and not lose.
When you say they're 2 dollars each, do you mean a roll of them is 2 dollars? Or do you literally mean each mentos?
