Now that ustooz.com has changed ownership and gone to shit I was wondering if anyone has a good alternative. I looked through the ozbargain list of parcel forwarders but none of the were like ustooz before. Their best selling point was that they had a residential address rather than a warehouse address. This allowed me to purchase items without an issue because all of the address used the ozbargain list are warehouses which cancels my order immediately when buying in the US.
And they have opened their new sales-tax-free warehouse in Oregon! Pretty good news. :)
I've used MyUS a couple of times, and they did a good enough job. No complaints.
Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of changes to freight forwards the past few years with many good ones going down the drain. I used to use MyUS heavily until they started mixing up my stuff with other peoples and not wanting to know about it.
I recently had trouble with Shipito where they literally tried to rip me off. Short version, paid for insurance, extra packaging etc for an item. Item arrived damaged. Filed a claim and was told Fedex had rejected it and they wouldn't explain why when asked. Looked into it myself and found Shipito had never insured the package and was just BSing me. Took almost a year but ended up getting the cost of the item and shipping costs back but they're clearly not an ethical business so would recommend they be avoided.
Currently I use USGoBuy but only if I can't find a way to send it directly. So far they've been OK though certainly not cheap but if you can't get an item any other way…..
Yep ustooz has gone to shit - tried to charge me gst on a $0 refund item, then got the address wrong, plus they charge a 4% fee based on the value of the item you are shipping - WTF??
Heard good things about com gateway.com - I'm trying them next.
Are there any good ones for envelopes?
I'm asking because buying trading card singles from the US is way way cheaper, but its hard to figure out the forwarding cost since most calculators focus on parcels.

Any suggestions to get this item from the US? FCP does not deliver to Australia. Anyone can recommend a freight forawading service that they have used that will get this over here?

I've seen some members recommend the business Planet Express. I've never tried it myself, but I remember it because of Futurama.
