The first 5 years after joining you will think you save money but then after 10 years you'll realised the reality/opposite.
what happens after 15 years?
You start commenting like jv.
what are the symptoms?
I just come here for gaming bargains and free entertainment by way of the forums.
Save on things that I'm been waiting to buy.
But…also end up buying things that I want but don't need.
(because the deal is just too tempting)Spending more, but getting more value.
But who knows, I think I've saved (or "earned" in some cases) to maybe even offset some of the additional spending
It'd be good to have a "savings tracker" function
This… My bank account is looking sore right now, but I've got $600 worth of discount Woolies/Coles gift cards, bought a Zzz Atelier mattress instead of putting off a purchase of a far more expensive one, got money locked up in 7-Eleven app for fuel locks, tons of 1/2 price stuff in the garage… The list goes on. Definately saving money, but as I've only been at it for ~3 months it's not truely reflecting in the account yet.
Rarely buy anything. I just get a laugh from the comments
I save on what I need, and lose on stuff I would not otherwise have bought. So I am breaking even financially while ending up with more stuff.
I don't understand people who say "well I don't know why I need this, but I bought one"
