Rockport Allender are dress shoes that you can run a marathon in (it's been done). Not cheap but occasionally you can pick them up at a DFO for under $200. They have to be felt to be believed.

There's a market for it. I imagine these would be comfy. I walk in the office a lot. I'm crawling under tables, plugging in cables, etc. I find it stupid that I have to wear office attire for an IT job, but that's how it goes. I walk quick. I hit the ground hard with my heel. Regular dress shoes keep tearing at the heel for me. These look like they would last a bit longer.
