I am looking for reasonable shipping costs for a small parcel to Sierra Leone (approx 2kg). Regular postage is unreliable and articles tend to "go missing". So looking for a reliable, reasonably priced courier.

One of my mates used to work for a company that works on behalf of those courier companies. His job was to pay off militia, bribe officials and ensure smooth delivery of goods.
The description of the process would make anyone think twice about shipping anything there.
(It's a very well paying job for people who know how to keep their head on their shoulders. No health insurance.)
I'd send it through Sendle, who will use DHL. This is probably the most reliable option.
I am pretty sure Sendle can't do insurance though.
I hear that if you just put it on any ship passing within 10kms of the coast, it'll end up in West Africa anyway….
Jokes aside, I think all the major couriers deliver there, and I'm not sure I'd trust any smaller couriers to ship to what's a relatively obscure location. Quick google shows all three of DHL, Fedex, and UPS ship to Sierra Leone.
