Don't forget you can use Domayne vouchers if you still have them from the $600 for $750 Amex offer.

Would love to see Amazon price match it.

      • Amazon finally matched it.

        • Doesn't look particularly matched to me.
          $89.49 is a bit more than $54 :/

          • @michal: If only care to notice my comment was made 11 days ago.

            • @allenhori: My apologies. I could have made my statement clearer. I wasn't suggesting that you were wrong but rather that Amazon Australia is a disappointment.

They matched it for a couple of days and now while Officeworks and Harvey Norman continue to sell it at $54 they thought it was a good idea to charge almost $35 above street price?

              Typical Amazon Australia.

              • @michal: It sold out quickly. I agree Amazon didn’t try harder to win more business. Sanely they are not the one leading price drop but rather being reactive to any sales.

  • Just bought one, thanks OP

Thanks for posting Doweyy! Does anyone know if it has keys to bind the scroll button? or possibly confirm that the middle button is a clickable version of the scroll button?? Would love to use it for gaming purposes

    • +3

There is that square button above the green light indicator that I have binded myself with Logitech software to act as a middle click.
You can't use the scroll-wheel "press" as a middle-click and it is impossible to change that.

    • +1

What blue cat said. Pressing down on the scroll wheel disengages the scroll wheel from the racheting gear and turns it into a frictionless scroll wheel, so it's not really a button that your computer can actually detect and rebind.

I set a sideways click/push of the wheel as middle button. It works really well and is actually quicker and easier to use than pressing the wheel. I'm such a fan of that feature I keep a spare of this mouse just in case I can't get them anymore haha

      • +1

        thats a great idea, Thanks!
I wasn't really liking using the under the wheel button as middle click as you'd have to relocate your finger to it and back to the scroll but this solves both problems for me as I don't really ever scroll left or right.

  • very good travel mouse

Is officeworks model the same as this one? Names are different.

  • +1

I am so disappointed with mine.. there is no middle mouse button feature (i imagined standard..)

    • +1

Littleannie up above suggested this for that problem and I think it'll work great. "I set a sideways click/push of the wheel as middle button. Yes there is. It's the square button just below the scroll wheel. You can map this button to be whatever you like using the Logitech software.

      • +1

That is bad design. The mx master had the two functions reversed… Like with any other mouse.

    • yeah, at work I use a mx master and it has a middle buttom. the square is awkward to press at times.

I'll try the side feature button but i do feel like i am comprising something that is already standard..

      • +2

I agree I'm not in love with this change ethier, but at least theres a slightly ok work around. And I also feel like this mouse should have enough room to store the usb in the mouse as well. If it's a travel mouse there should be some means of them joining together.

        • +1

I'm glad someone else gets it. Luckily the home PC mainly collects dust in the spare room with the use of Laptops and tables 90% of the time.

  • This mouse is crap, no idea why it's so popular. The scroll wheel sucks.

    • Oh,, what do u dislike?

      • It's a good mouse for portability (travelling, BYOD, hot-desking etc), and unlike the Apple Magic Mouse you can use it while charging. If you're not after portability then I'd recommend something larger and more ergonomic.

    • no idea why it's so popular.

Same reason why Bose QC's are popular

I like this mouse for it’s size, handy to take too and from the office and out to site. It’s got all of the buttons that are handy for every day use, can be paired with 3 devices, and the battery lasts a long time.
The only downside I’ve found is the mouse clicks are quite loud.

    • +1

The click noise was the main reason I ended up not buying when I went to OW to check it out. But I found that majority of the logitech's had the same problem. Apart from that, it seems like a good quality device.

      • Having to buy a new mouse just to get rid of the bloody loud click noise - it is THAT loud

This is a good travel mouse

  • Thanks OP - Got one at blacktown

  • Thanks OP. Got one from Newport.

The G304 is worth looking at if you ever want an alternative.

    • I just bought the logitech m590 at OW. Seems good so far.

  • @bloodyHunter Yo boi

  • I just went to JB Hifi and got price matched with this, thanks mate!

  • Great mouse. Awesome to create shortcuts and gesture control, but clicks are a little loud.

  • Is this still current?

    • Out of stock at OW QV and Exhibition St, I picked one up from HN QV for $54 price matched this arvo.
