Hey guys,
About to purchase some expensive tickets from Stubhub but after reading reviews online I'm not too sure anymore..

The reviews are actually quite horrendous and got the below from Reddit.
"When you sign up as a seller, you have to give them credit card info so they can charge you back if you screw someone over. So, as legit as it can be. You’d still be out the event, but you’d get your money back. Tickets get voided if someone else uses it. So like if they sold it to you on Stubhub and somebody else on some other site. Whoever used it first at the venues would get in, the later would be denied. It is still possible, but again, you’d get your money back at least. Still safer than almost anywhere else except straight from Ticketmaster."
How is this even allowed omg? Anyone else had similar experience? Tickets I'm about to buy is a popular event as well.
Edit: thanks guys.. Ended up buying tix from Platinum Ticketmaster.. Paid a bit more but don't want to risk of turning up on the day and tickets aren't available to use.
I think it is the major ticket re-selling site in the US? I used it for tickets to a sold-out Yankees/Red Sox game 12 years ago without issue.
