    Love your Ozbargain set of mind, but short answer is no. SIM has unique identifier that needs to be attached to a "phone number". So, the choice either to port or direct activation. Still, hope that I'm wrong about it LOL

      i ported from ALdi to boost, happened within the hour

      Telstra to Boost requires a blank sim to be sent out (order through phone support)

      Great. Will give it a go. It mentioned data rollover if recharge before expiry, anyone know if that means the day of expiry or few days before to recharge? I never use prepaid before.
