OZSODA

A great bargain for those with SodaStream machines at home. These tanks have the same amount of gas but are MORE THAN 50% CHEAPER than the big department stores are selling them for.

They FIT ALL CURRENT SODASTREAM MACHINES out there, so no issues about compatibility with these tanks.

If you want extra cylinders so you're always prepared, purchase one of these a Spare CO2 Cylinders. This is not an exchange cylinder, but we are able to REFILL them at our Springvale 3171 warehouse.

we also SHIP AUSTRALIA WIDE!

Going through these size tanks too quickly? We also have bigger capacity solutions on our website, like our 2.6kg (346 Liter) refillable tanks and adapters that work out much cheaper in the long run!

For the hassle of $2 I’d rather go to any Woolworths, Kmart, coles etc

    • This isnt a refill, it's a spare cylinder. The cost of a spare cylinder from Sodastream start at $35.

      • And you won’t be able to exchange it anywhere other than this single location is my point

This isn't a refill, it's a compatible cylinder and refills should be $2 (but they probably aren't).

Thanks rep, any chance of a deal on the 2.6kg tank and adapter? Keen to go down this route but I'm far away from your warehouse so refilling would be an issue.

    • Same here rep!

Just a note as I have gone this route - make sure you put thread tape on the connection or it will leak. I love mine, but the missus hates having the tank on the kitchen bench… I'll make an OzBargainer out of her yet!

      • For that reason (not to have 2.6kg bottle on the bench) I bought refilling adapter.
These bottles from this deal might be easier to refil (looks like old style valve) compared to current genuine ones from sodastream.

      • Where are you putting the thread tape? Between the bottle and the hose?

        • Yes, on the bottles fitting.

      • I'm not sure what the connector is like on these but I used to work with gas analysis equipment and cylinders of hydrogen, CO2 etc. One of the things that we were trained in and told about repeatedly was not to use thread tape on gas cylinder fittings. Particularly the brass ones. These might be different fittings but I'd ask for advice from the supplier and at the least google this advice and the type of fitting before acting on it.

        • The supplier actually advised me to use thread tape. They all appear to be brass though.

I should also add that it is a KegLand tank.

      • make sure you put thread tape on the connection or it will leak

I did this once. It had the opposite effect, only getting about a third the normal number of bottles out of it.

Took my SodaStream and the bottle to the store, and they could find no issues at all.

After some chatting, I mentioned I had used thread tape, and the guy told me not to use thread tape as it's not required in this set-up.

They were going to give me a free refill, but I decided that the thread tape might have been the issue, so went halves in the refill.

        Never had an issue since.

        YMMV.

    • If you're going to refill , a 6kg bottle would be much more economical. Refilling a 6kg bottle over a 2.6kg is only marginally more expensive. Similar to the economics of 4.5kg and 9kg bbq gas bottles.

  • Tank and adapter deal please!

do you have the 35L v3.1 roborew instock?

  • Is it safe to refill the canister that comes with the machine or do I need this specific refillable canister?

    • If you are talking about a branded Sodastream then yes, the cylinder is exactly the same and is designed to be refilled.

    • This one might be even easier to refill.

    • That's a refill only - in other words, take your empty cannister into a Spotlight store and exchange it for one that has gas in it (or get it refilled, not sure which).

How about a deal on the Sodastream Cylinder Filling Adapter that lets you fill a sodastream bottle from a C02 bottle?

  • Does this violate any of Sodatstream's terms of conditions?
