Skmei Watches - How to Turn off The Mode Beep?

Does anyone know if you can turn off the beep when pressing the mode button on Skmei watches? I have the 1251.

You can, if you open up the backplate and disconnect the speaker.
…but then you compromise the waterproofing slightly.

  I ended up just putting tape on the inside of the cover and now beep free!
