Best over The Ear - Wired CLOSED Back Headphones

Calling out ozbargain audiophiles , to share their experiences about CLOSED BACK Headphones. This is not a discussion to say, how good $318 Bose QC35 or Sony Cans are and why we should consider them over these..

This is to discuss best closed back headphones you have used which most of us can afford under $50 - $1000 (include the cans if you brought them even for an awesome deal under $1000.)

Why they are good ? And what have you compared them against.

I will start: (not ranked)

1. ATH M50x - $180 - Value for money - good sound - bass heavy to me.
2. Beyerdynamic DT1990 - $750 - Expensive - Beautiful sound reproduction, easy to drive
3. Shure 1540 - $650 - Very Underrated not marketed well - Amazing sound - Expensive - very well made - good amount of accessories
4. ATH M70x - $250 - Good sound - not sure about the richness , seems a bit shallow and treble forward
5. Oppo PM3 - $350-400 - Planar Magnetic, Very rich and full sound, easy to drive - questionable build quality
