Yeah I think if they had a fast travel system like AC or even the first game it would make it a lot more enjoyable in between missions.
They do.. Coaches and trains early on, then literal fast travel from camps to known locations.
@ryang: It’s not really the same thing. Still need o go to them, you can do it from anywhere on the map. It’s a great game but this was my biggest gripe.

Nice find OP. Just as an FYI all, if you are happy with second hand, these are now going for $30-50 on gumtree/FB Marketplace.
Most I see are up around the $50-70 mark on Gumtree, probably better off paying the $59 and eliminating the possibility of having some kids booger wiped across the disc when you pick it up.
I bought mine for $35 on gumtree about 6 weeks ago. I just messaged everyone selling one. Most ignored my message, 1 replied saying no and another replied saying yes. Messaged everyone Saturday, got the yes reply on a Sunday. You can get some good deals if you put in the effort!

I’m just speaking from my experience in Brisbane. If you are pendantic about that sort of thing, I guess. Although it’s not really a kids game so likelihood is low. All the ones I’ve picked up have been in brand new condition. Just need to make sure it includes both discs.

I had 0 issues with controls … and it was one of my favourite games of the year …. over 60 hours of entertainment for $59 is definitely a good purchase.

Default controls didn't feel good, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they were ass. If you go to the control settings and turn dead zone all the way down and acceleration all the way up, the controls feel a thousand times more precise and tight.
^THIS^ - Default settings are very sluggish but this makes a huge difference.

For Xbox One, you can jump through many hoops for cheaper prices via region-hopping - savings are usually about 40%.
I think it’s too much to deal with and would settle with a physical copy.
