Dick Smith has an HD (not full HD) going for $348 with an HDMI cable included as well http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GE6606/dick-smith-81cm-32-qu…

    • I've been looking around for the past few weeks for a 32" for around $300-$350, and this DSE TV was pretty much the best I could find for around that price. The only important issues (important for me anyway) I could see were some complaints about the sounds not being overly strong.

The current deal ($348 plus HDMI cable) wasn't there a week or so back (it was retainling for $398 before easter, and no freebee) so might be worth contacting them to see how long the deal will last.

  • It looks like a decent unit with dual HDMI input and USB inputs, the major downside is the 1 star power rating.

    • Thanks guys

Where does it say 1 star? I can see it has 150W consumption whereas the Toshiba 32" has 5 stars for 120W.

      • Never mind, saw it in the store. It's 500kWh annually - 2 stars.

  • it shouldn't be too hard to find one for that price. In Bing Lee about 2 months ago I saw a 32" full HD samsung for $399 and they were willing to do a deal on it too.

or of course you could buy used on ebay/gumtree. price of 2nd hand TV's is crazy. saw a 40" LCD Sony go for $200 the other day only 8 months old. i guess people dont trust buying second hand and most people already have a LCD by now so the prices drop off on 2nd hand market..

  • A little bit above your budget, but not a bad looking deal nonetheless:
