Nope, still the same shipping. but cheaper price for club catch
It’s considered “bulky item”
Ahh damn, still a good price anyway.
$50 shipping kills the deal. Better off with the Gearbite deal for $593 on ebay which comes with 2 spare wheels.
$ 539.95 Now!
That’s after this deal was posted. If it wasn’t then the price wouldn’t be anywhere near
What's the chance that South Australia will legalise these for public use?
Still illegal everywhere except QLD
You would think Catch should state that.
I'm not sure that is entiry true, well for melbourne at least. These scooters can be firmware modified. You can change them to have a 10km/h maximum speed limit and assuming you just optimise the 'motor power constant' to comply the 200w max output. Firmware mod here: https://m365.botox.bz
There are electric scooter trials running in St Kilda since December which use Xiaomi scooters, claim to be compliant with VIC scooter laws and are used in public spaces/footpaths. https://concreteplayground.com/melbourne/travel-leisure/ride…

Edit: The St Kilda scooters are Ninebot scooters, not Xiaomi facepalm. Possibly factory modded?
$539.95 Gearbite eBay deal is much better than this.
Tempting, has anyone been pulled up over riding this in Melb yet?
I've had no trouble at all mainly along spencer, the yarra and st kilda road ….only seen three others in the last six months…..now the guy wearing full black leathers and tinted motorcycle helmet was the strangest …maybe was out doing a hit should have checked the news.
How is the build quality of this scooter? Is warranty and repair something I should be worried about?
Shipping is $50 for me (non-Club), is it free shipping with Club Catch?
