Depends how far over you are. The max load limits are usually on the conservative side. With extra weight it might take a little longer to accelerate and you'll have trouble going up hills. Otherwise shouldn't be problem.
I know it's not part of this deal, but I bought the gen 2 Xiaomi vacuum recently and it's so good.
Just a question if anyone can help me out, the instructions say to have 50+ cm free on either side of the charger, do you really need that amount of room? I want to try putting the charger under the buffet table but it's a little cramped with the legs there.
$600 purchase to risk a $2000 fine (if you're in NSW or VIC)
What about WA?
Illegal in WA, not sure about the fine amount.
Cant you comply with VIC scooter laws by modding the firmware to limit the scooter to a 10km/h maximum speed limit and just optimise the 'motor power constant' to comply the 200w max output? Firmware mod here: https://m365.botox.bz
There has been a scooter trial running in St Kilda since December which use modded Ninebot scooters. The company claims to be compliant with VIC scooter laws and they are used in public spaces/footpaths. I'm sure the VIC gov would have swept these guys up by now if they were illegal.

How do these compare spec-wise to the Lime scooters?
Similar/same.
Lime uses either this model or a slightly modified Ninebot ES2 (slightly more power).
Ordered on Friday and arrived yesterday (Melbourne postcode), thanks Gearbite! Took it to work today, averaged 18kph according to the app and it was the most fun I've ever had communing to work! Only catch is, even folded its a big piece of kit, my office lift can get pretty full and I felt like a bit of a prat taking up so much room. Might need to leave a little earlier to avoid the 9am rush.
Any other around at this price point. Kids birthday coming up. Share link if you do thanks.
Looks awesome, I'd love to get one and ride it. Unfortunately it's capacity is 100KG so looks like I'm too fat.
