Gaming Laptop with Worst Warranty?

Hi, I'm looking on buying a gaming laptop.

II7-8th gen, 16gb ram, 1060 or 2060 gpu
and hopefully with thunderbolt 3.

I'm looking at MSI, Asus, Razer, Alienware at the moment

But sometimes I come across with stories on warranty problems.

If you had any warranty claims, can you kindly share your experience?

Thanks heaps.

You've probably heard this before, but just in case:

Be aware that most of the time a gaming laptop is more expensive than a much more portable laptop AND a much more powerful gaming desktop PUT TOGETHER. Most people who buy one end up regretting it, because not only did they waste a lot of money, but now they are stuck with a weak gaming machine and an overly-heavy, noisy, battery-sucking laptop that's a pain to lug around.

I would avoid Razer and Alienware, they are overpriced for what they offer.

I was a big fan of the MSI GS65 but it was really expensive at the time so I went with the Gigabyte Aero 15 which cost me around the same as a MSI GS63 (~$2.4k).

I haven't had to do any warranties so can't give any experience there.

Razers carry a price premium due to the very compact size though it is probably still a bit over-inflated.
Alienware have very high quality builds but I agree, its mostly the name you're paying for.

As for OP's question I've never had to make a warranty claim. From what I've heard Dell after-sales support is excellent and Acer is bad. Not sure about other brands.

I own a Asus gaming laptop. Battery was no good after a Yr, now needs plugged into a power point anyway. Saves space on my dinning table but next time I'm going desktop.

Unless there is huge discount or deals going its not really worth it, you would want 40-50% off at least, maybe look 2nd hand, alot of people regret buying gaming laptops and resell them relatively cheap.
