Hi I really would like to buy a Ecolpi Falcon , I know LPG at servos is decreasing but will there still be servos who will have it or will it be gone soon? I’m hoping it stays for at least another 5-10 years.

Yeah, if you vote for the Greens they might dismantle the privatised retail electricity sector and replace it with a cheap, efficient Government monopoly.

But sure, I think some things should be government run and others not so much. Having a relative in working in the DHS, taking a friend to public dentist and hospital, and waiting ages at the license center doesn't give me much confidence for everything to be government-run.

They're certainly decreasing around the lower Hunter area (NSW) - I'd say it has something to do with the lack of Falcon taxis now to be honest, they're all driving those horrible hybrid Camrys.

BTW Lots are LPG hybrid camrys now! LPG is going no where, LPG hybrid is half the cost to run than a standard hybrid.

The hybrid Camrys are ten times more comfortable than anything Ford has made.
They are also decreasing the number LPG bowsers around Gippsland (Vic) and have been for at least a couple of years.
Many servos have removed their LPG tanks completely.
The Government rebate scheme has been scrapped, there's more cars on the road using diesel, spare parts availability has decreased, and the price of LPG has increased from less than 1/3 of the price of petrol to 1/2 and more the price of petrol.
IMO it won't be more than a few years until LPG for cars will be just a memory.
I haven't noticed them disappearing, every servo still has one.

Metro VIC (Melbourne/Geelong) is fine. Regional VIC ok-ish
Sydney is ok (but prices rising).
Regional/Rural, forget it. lack of availability and expensive means not worth the effort
