Hey all, I'm looking at getting a Samsung Q7 65". I have seen prices as low as $2200, but currently the cheapest I have been able to find is $2800.
Does anyone know if there is any specials coming up or somewhere that is selling at least as low as $2500?
I know there is new models due to drop in the next 1-2 Months. Most retailers (HN, Bing, Good Guys) don't even stock the 65" anymore.

Thanks! I'd really prefer the Q7 if I can, as it has the 1 connect cable for better wall mounting, its brighter (as my lounge room is bright) & blacker blacks from what I have read.
Also, it's gotta be new as I'm trying to get JBHI-Fi to price match as I have a heap of vouchers for them. :/

I was on the hunt for one of these for quite a while and just got one a couple of weeks ago from Appliances Online for $2777. I had been into JB the week before just after it came off special and they said there would be no more of them as it's the run out model and they were not prepared to negotiate from the price that were advertising it for at the time which was about $3200. Like you, the 1-connect cable was one of the main drawcards, as well as the QLED and the no-gap wall mount option.
I had to wait 2 weeks for AO to get it in from Samsung. I'm very pleased with it - blacks are sensational and it's nice and bright.
Thanks! Yea it looks like a pretty good TV. Spoke to the guy a JBHI-FI yesterday, they had a few in stock and they are getting more in.
His boss was willing to drop to $2800 from $3200, but I have seen it for $2495 1 month ago, and like you said, its a run out model so the new range should drop in about 1-2 months.
I bought mine off ebay in October last year from Appliance Central during one of the 20% off sales. It ended up being just over $2600.
But looking at Appliance Online now, the price has been jacked up to $3649 (from $3299 when I bought it).
JB was selling for $3999 at the time and they were only willing to take off $100.
Maybe wait for another 20% eBay sale….
Should be some more sales coming up. Especially since new 2019 models will be coming out soon.
Possible you will still find a deal around but there's not much actual stock left and as result you are seeing ridiculous pricing (on a lot of the 2018 tvs).
@shadsdan, might be a bit more than you wanted to spend but can pick up a 65" Q9 for $3200 @ good guys 20% off ebay sale.
Q9 is considered a pretty good upgrade from the Q7 just for FALD alone. Alternatively, while not the lowest price its ever been, the Sony X90F will be around $2400-2500, its also very well regarded and usually higher up the pecking order than the Q7 anyway.

I hit up JBHIFI so many times I think they got annoyed and did it for $2700 just to get rid of me. Haha. Bloody ripper TV! So happy with the purchase.
Look at Q6, same panel. I got a refurbish with 5 year extended warrenty from HN for $2500
