I'm considering a tour through Vietnam with webjet exclusives. I've never been on a 'tour' before but they seem to pack quite a lot of Vietnam into 14 days, with a few free days and it seems to be good value. Has anybody else been on a tour with them? What's the accomodation like? Are you in a large group all the time?
Booked a Webjet Tour for April to Vietnam conducted by Asia Vacation Group. I find dealing with Asia Vacation Group a bit hit and miss in that they seem to have a very poor accounts system and tend to loose your payments when you Direct Transfer Fund to them. Twice they have come back with "we haven't received your payment" while upon sending them a copy of the transfer doco they have suddenly found the payments. Maybe they are trying it on to get paid a second time. Also if you want to stay an extra number of days they attempt to slug you an outrageous amount.
saying that as yet I have not been on the "14 day Best of Vietnam with Nha Trang beach break".
Just wondering if this was the trip you went on and have did you find it ?

I would have thought I'm just paying webjet exclusives and not a separate travel partner. Or was your issue in some areas when you needed to pay them directly for extras?
I was wondering about whether you could get a different flight there or back and spend a couple of more days in the first or last destination. Is that not possible unless you pay an extra cost?
The trip I'm planning is the 14 day trip with Sapa hills. Beach break is nice but Sapa Hills is spectacular.
The 14 day Best of Vietnam with Nha Trang beach break we paid a deposit to Webjet with the residual being paid to Asia Vacation Group. As to get a different flight there or back and spend a couple of more days in the first or last destination if the trip is orginased by Asia Vacation Group they will want an arm & leg for any changes see below.
We Requested :- Depart Brisbane for Hanoi on Sunday 31 March with 2 extra nights accommodation at the selected hotel in Hanoi for the tours e.g. Chalcedony Hotel. Please give quotation for the total costs for this addition to the standard tour for 2 people.

The total price is $755 per person x 2

Did an 11 day tour in Vietnam from Webjet exclusives last year. Was busy, but good.
A few of the days didn't interest me, so i let the tour guide know not to expect me on those days. Just did my own thing.
The package was pretty good, the provided meals and internal flights were good also.
I'd do it again.
Not sure who this tour is done by, mine was organised by "Asia Vacation Group"
