Liven stole my $$ for allegedly breaching their terms which I hadn't. My wife an I had an account each which they claimed was multiple accounts and disabled my profile with a sizeable credit. These days I use EatClub which is far better with actual on the spot discounts.

Same mate, same. Didn't bother following up with them further as they took so long to respond.

      Same, not worth bothering anymore.

  • Anyone manage to figure out the major announcement from Feb 25? I had lots of pop ups on my phone about it … still waiting for the pop up with the actual announcement.

It was just that Roger Ver has joined their board as an advisor or some shit. He’s some crypto bro from the beginning of bitcoin. But from what I can tell, the OG crypto bros and founders of other coins just hang shit on him most of the time.

Must be tough getting work as a b-grade crypto celeb these days … joining the advisory board of a c-grade food app in Australia.

        • probably gets paid a decent sum to dial in to meetings from overseas for 30 minutes and give advice on "crypto strategy" ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯

      • Must admit I don't get the whole crypto thing (in relation to this app). They made a huge amount of geeky fanfare about blockchain etc as the best thing to happen to this app with lengthy technical jargon that the average food discount hunter couldn't care less about. I don't know whether this is a restaurant app or trying to start some financial transaction platform. Either way too hard. As I said EatClub works much better for me. Easy to book, great disounts and on the spot savings without any blockchain nonsense. It also helps if you live in certain parts of Melbourne where the bulk of the good discounted restaurants are.

  • How safe is this app really? To be funded from crypto…

    • Crypto risk or not, how likely is it that we Ozbargainers are rich, really?

January 1st is the last email they sent out with coupons codes. These days they only give back extra credit back. Haven't used them since.

    • Never had any emails sent with coupon codes…
