Haven't had these, but I have workboots without a cap in them. They serve my main purpose which is to make sure I don't get a nail through the foot when I don't keep the shed clean, but they can be a bit of a pain when gardening or moving stuff and I don't have a solid toe to kick stuff with. But for most regular work they would probably serve fine.
