VHS to DVD or similar

My Dad has asked me to convert some VHS tapes to DVD. Have noticed some cheap converters on eBay but am thinking the software won’t be great.

Any suggestions as I have about 3-4 tapes to do

Just buy a VHS player that has a DVD recorder in built ~$20-50 on gumtree/ebay.

I got a $7 one from eBay. Converts like a champ, software is easy to use. Bargain.

Jaycar do them for you as well if you didn't want to do it yourself.

You just need a vhs player with a video out, and a video capture card with an analogue video inputs.

I would pay someone to do this as professionals should have better quality VHS decks and will give you better results.
