  • SOLD OUT - they can't have too many of these on offer, there has only been 17 clicks since the initial post!

You're aware that this was promoted as "Today we're offering a limited amount of $20.00 iTunes cards for just $12.99 only to our newsletter subscribers"

and wasn't made public on ozbargain until 10.10am.. which is 10 mins later than when everyone else would have got the email..

      • Based on the last thread 9 people confirmed they got one.
Based on this thread 1 person (you) confirmed they got one.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume that there aren't too many on offer regardless of when the newletter was emailed. I'm not being critical I think this is a good deal provided you can get it.

However, if you consider it, it's quite possible these guys are buying at 25% off from retail outlets, pretty much a standard discount. Then selling at 35% off here and through the newsletter. Net "cost" to them: $2 each. Sell 25 at total "cost" of $50 = 1500 clicks on the site (based on the last thread). It's smart and it's the cheapest form of advertising they could possibly "buy".

        • Did you really need to waste that time counting how many people got one? you were late and couldn't get it, they were limited quantities obviously.

        • I doubt that anyone would sell at a loss, and even more bizarre is that they'd primarily advertise it to existing customers.

"Limited stocks so just 1 per customer, will sell out like our previous 2 times we've offered, and only got 500 of these this time around."

Do you really think that they're going to buy 500 of these, to sell for a $2 loss each time?

I don't doubt that they'd sell 500 of these within 10 mins.. Maybe you should subscribe to their newsletter .. lol

        • sparkles. I got one too. That makes 2 confirmed.

  • Damn only 26 mins and its sold out :(
    Still deserve a +ve though.
