I was looking at https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/mobiles-on-a-plan/s… & https://www.optus.com.au/shop/mobile/phones/samsung/galaxy-s… and was wondering if anyone had managed to get a discount on either plan and if so how much?
Thanks

That's if you're fine with second hand. Not a fan of doing that with electronics personally.
Otherwise you can wait a bit longer and pick up an s9 new for $700~, or go back another gen for $500~
hahaha
When milennials complain about not being able to afford a house but have the latest Samsung/Apple phones, I don't think the Avo toast is the issue..
they offered me $10p/m discount
I'll probally just go for woolworths mobile $72p/m
Over the phone, negotiated the $99 (30+20gb data) S10 plan for $89 to own the phone. They said I could choose to own the phone or lease for $89. Was hoping for a smaller 5g phone so perhaps waiting 12-24 months isn't such a bad thing.
Is this for Telstra? Are you still having to pay the $25 handset repayment on top of the $89 reduced plan?
i was able to get the $10p/m off discount for my S8+
anyone able to get it again for the s10?
i was planning to leave telstra and go optus..
but if i can get the $10 off again + the Samsung s10 5g deal.. i think ill stay
update: i saw black and green s10+ getting sold out, So i quickly spoke to telstra 24/7 chat.
they waived my remaining plan (2+ months left), also giving me $10 per month off any plan i choose.
Usual bonuses include free Galaxy ear buds + Free upgrade to the S10 5g phone (bigger screen and battery) when released.
ps. i chose the buy plan so the phones are NOT leased.
the smart move now is to get good condition S9 when the not so smart people rushing to get S10 and sell their S9 cheap.
