Just got wind of the advantages of merino, particularly for travelling. Can anyone recommend an outlet for affordable gear that's reasonable quality? I've been looking around for boxers for example and they don't come far south of $50 a pop.
TIA

Ta Smitty, happy to buy Aldi but they tend to be longjohns/long sleeves. I'm hoping to buy a mess of boxers and regular tshirts which I've never seen in the Aldi range. Also I think I'd have to wait until June…
I just checked, and I have some Crane (Aldi) merino boxers. 94% merino / 6% elastene. Can’t remember when they came out though. Didn’t buy then this year…
They are comfortable and durable
All my travel under gear is from Uniqlo. They have some great thermals.
Love the idea of Uniqlo, I've always thought it was pretty premium gear at premium price point. I'll have a look, ta
Merino boxers? Sounds….itchy.
+1 for Uniqlo
Have had merino briefs.
Very comfy and no itch but everytime you fart it sounds like "baaahhhhhh".
Uniqlo
Uniqlo are all cotton underwear by the looks of it, no merino.
Icebreaker outlet stores can be reasonable, especially in the clearance racks. Otherwise I can give you a good deal on some 2nd hand ;)
I've no problem buying used smalls, there's nothing a good wash can't fix. I'll give the Icebreaker stores a try, ta.
Icebreaker outlet.
Not what you are asking for I know but The Merino and Co are brilliant quality and worth the money in my opinion.
Ta for that
I agree
U can wait until Aldi have their sales, the merino aren't too bad. I think they've done it for the last 2 years at least (closer to winter)
