Also $19 is the Scosche Fyndr USB-C 12V Charger & App Locator

    • Thanks mate. added into OP :)

  • Already have a four port BlitzWolf one that does the same charging minus the Bluetooth locator, so I'll restraint myself on this one.

That being said, if a company came out with Quick charge and google assistant built In, I am there.

I don't known much about the product or brand but I came across this…

      https://goroav.com/pages/bolt

      • thanks for that, yeah that was the one announced at CES along with JBL's version - but it doesn't have QC 3.0 and only has two ports. I need four cos i use three dashcams in my car + the one QC 3.0 port for charging my phone.

I'm hopeful someone will make one sometime

        • Thats quite a lot of dash cam, where do you have your third one on?
I would recommend to 'hardwire' the dashcams to the fuses, which is actually very easy and cheap to do.
Just get one of those fuse adapter then connect them to one of the fuses.
~$7 would get you 5 adapter with the fuses.
Only need to make sure to use a fuse that only have power when you turn on the car, otherwise the dashcam won't turn off.

          • @yoshipau: back window on the side, I have a three-door hatchback.

I was thinking about hardwiring the cams a few years back but got lazy and just never ended up doing it. I have hidden all the cables by taking the plastic panels off on the pillars and feeding the USB cables through there. for the back one on the windscreen, used a cable snake and a longer USB cable to push it through to the back.

it's all very neat and tidy

  • Now get the usb C one or the quick charger? I've got a google pixel xl 2. Thx

  • Do people really lose their cars in carparks?

How does these so called "locators" work?
Bluetooth only really has a usable distance of 10metres, if you're that close and can't find your car, you've got bigger problems.

Or is this simply for outdoor parking where it saves last known location on GPS? Do people really lose their car when parked outdoors?

    • I'm guessing it tracks your car's location using your phone's GPS (via the BT connection). Once BT is disconnected then the last coordinates will be your parking location. The parking location is stored in the app and i guess you can use a map for the direction to the car.

      Emphasis on "i guess".

This one has collision detection for $29

  • Sounds more like a gimmick for suckers.
You could do all those with apps already on your phone and your car remote

    • $19 is a lot cheaper and quicker than fitting such a remote…

    • if including vibration it will be a big win

  • This or a "Xiaomi ZMI Dual" charger (ignoring delivery times). This one seems a little chunky

Never Lose Your Parked Car Again

Does this only work when you're parked? Can it be used for example to stalk your partner?
