Wow. The mobile space is so cutthroat. I would never lock in though, because better deals are always just around the corner.
Edit: I would always pay a little extra for a month-by-month plan.I would never lock in though, because better deals are always just around the corner.
So you'd rather pay more now?
Yes because they will pay less in the future
they will pay less in the future
or not…
@jv: Yeah because plans never go down.
@Icecold5000: Some go up when special offers expire…
@jv: That’s not the point. It’s about not being locked in which is worth paying more for. Your position is unsustainable given how phone plans are trending
Seems they do the same plan month-to-month for $38
What's the go with the 50% off for a second service? I started going through the checkout process but it wants heaps of information before I can actually get to a cart.
So the $35 original plan is at full fee, but then if you wanted a second $35 plan it would be half that? So total of $52.50 for two services?
No longer valid - I took to the chat and the rep I talked to 'Ivan' said no longer offered.
Username checks out
@Perthian: you are the 'I_an' from Perth ? LoL
Does this use the full telstra network so no difference to being on Telstra or does it only rent part?
Just retail part same as Aldi. Which makes the pricing higher than Aldi
Which Aldi plan are you comparing it to? Aldi looks more expensive for 35-40GB data:
Uses Telstra Wholesale. Covers the same % of the population as Optus.
Boost is the only non-Telstra operator that uses the full Telstra network.
What about jb hifi?
Edi yes they use full telstra
JB Hifi aren't a mobile operator. They're a retailer selling Telstra plans. You get a Telstra SIM, a Telstra account, you contact Telstra for technical support, etc.
Was just advised in Chat the "you can get 50% off plan fee if you add another service" is no longer available
Was also told this via chat
It's cheaper ($32.86pm) and a shorter commitment if you prepay 7 months:
So you'd rather pay more now?
Don't be obtuse JV. I have to have a service now as opposed to sometime "just around the corner". I would gladly pay $3.00 pm extra for the ability to change when needed.
This for around ~$25 if you sign up with a mate isn't too bad.
