  • since new releases are around $8 a night.

my video shop has $1 new releases on Tue & Thu, and 4 for $7 any night of the week…

  • You might want to set your calendar alarm to remind you to cancel at trial's end…

"After the free trial, your subscription will continue on the 2 disc at a time, unlimited plan for $24.90. You can change your rollover plan at any time by accessing the Service Status page of Your Account."

  • Don't they have this all the time? What's special about it?

  • How long does the free trial last? Is it for a certain length of time, a certain number of movies or what? This information does not seem to be given on the link provided.

  • This has nothing to do with quickflix right? I did a free trial with them but not webflicks. Hope I'm not charged…

Mainly I just don't like the fact they charge you credit card afterwards.

$8 a night plus forced warnings and sometimes forced previews are what pushes people to torrent downloads.
What I find funny about forced warnings; do the right thing and you get yelled at by the warnings not to do the wrong thing, do the wrong thing and don't get yelled at to do the right thing plus your movie starts right away without all the crap at the beginning.

  • I think the key word is FREE and before the trial month is over, then cancel your account on the website, couldn't be more easier than that.

Torrent users must be sick of the substandard quality of the files they are downloading.

This is an oportunity to see films as they were meant to be seen, full HD and surround sound.

You obviously don't torrent movies then. Nearly all the movies I torrent are full HD (DVD/BR quality) and 5.1 SS. They just rip and upload unedited DVD/BR files. Simply put I'm seeing and hearing the same files you are, the difference is I'm playing them off a HDD and you're playing them off an optical disc. The quality is identical. I can watch them on my lounge TV as they download too, just a bonus of the software I chose to use.

This freebie is AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME!

No need to hurry & sign up.

I'd wait for WebFlix to release a "Promotion Code" to get 6 months for free, like Bigpond Movies & QuickFlix does occasionally.
