They look pretty cool, hope they keep bringing them in a manual!
Also, a runout of the old model might be a smart buy soon too. They seem like a fantastic car.

No new 'news' per se but I saw a review from late Jan which prompted me to see what other people were thinking.
I'm more interested in the new skyactiv-x engine "the power of a high-revving gasoline engine and the fuel efficiency of a diesel".
just curious, what did they have to do to achieve "the power of a high-revving gasoline engine and the fuel efficiency of a diesel"
Jason @Engineering Explained have a video for it

i think new kia cerato and hyundai i30 look alot better.
the back of the new mazda hatch and sedan look terrible.

tiny back window and huge back pillars means bad rear vision
Not in the sedan ;)
But yeah, that is a factor with a lot of hatches these days. The swoopier the roofline gets, the bigger the C pillar becomes.
I have a Renault Megane Rs265. Rear visibility is poor and on certain angles when your trying to cut into a road you can't see cars. Minor issue, but does make you sweat a bit to try and get into traffic. Does have rear camera and senors which is a must. Assume 3 would need it.
Doubt there would be a manual The design is pretty close to their concept car. Best to see it in the flesh. If in that Metallic red it should look great.
I think it looks good and I am keen to get it.
Was it recently revealed? Do you have a link to info on this?
I did a Google but only saw things from last year, not sure what we're talking about here.
