How did you go? Did you get any discounts?
Spoke to Telstra last week about changing my home bundle to accommodate NBN. I was told to wait as new plans were releasing in early March. They might do run out prices on the old 2018 model?

Heard the 2018 model has poor fuel consumption…
Here are the NEW plans -

This plan is crazy!
Telstra forgets that it have no network advantage in NBN
How can charge such a high price $90/m, and only have 40 Mbs for 50/20?
And still charge $405 setup fee for month-to-month contract?Lol with all the NBN providers out there not looking promising for Telstra that is a rip.
If you include the unlimited voip it's the same price as Aussie broadband. Obviously not everyone wants that but some people still use landlines I think…
Also no connection fee if you sign up online. The only kicker is the modem cost which it looks like you have to buy no matter what.@Leuke: No, if you take into account the unlimited VOIP including to mobiles, it's cheaper than Aussie Broadband by $9. Telstra $90 versus Aussie Broadband $99 for the same thing (unlimited nbn50 with unlimited calls). As for the modem you only have to pay for it if you leave before 24 months.
Port the number to another provide….save $$$
interesting… is it possible to port a telstra land line to optus? would it be via VOIP or regular land line?
If you are already with Telstra and just want to switch to NBN try live chat. They put me on the unlimited casual plan with no charges or fees for anything at all.
