Aldi green curry is very nice, how does kantong compare?
Yes agree the aldi green curry is my go to
Personally I find the Kantong sauces lacking in flavour.
The Peanut Satay is ok ~7.5/10.
The Green Curry ~7/10.
I am one who is not adverse to spicy foods though, so those who are not might more appreciate the Kantong sauces.
These certainly are well priced so one could always consider getting some separate flavouring eg. green curry paste for example and add to the Kantong'.
Has anyone noticed date of expiry for these?
Satay I recommend the Taylor's jars. Best I've found.
Just bought a few jars of sweet and sour and satay at Woolies today :D 5% off staff discount (not me, family member is) and 5% off wish egift card… works out cheaper for me compared to Amazon
It's cheaper (at the moment) at Woolworths for everyone, even without using further discount methods.
Not tried this, but their otherSaices tend to be overly sweet
Doesn’t take long
for the word to get around
Mama's making it?
Good deal but average sauce.
Honey, Soy, Garlic Ingredients:
Water, Soy Sauce 12%(Water, Wheat, Soybeans Salt), Onion, Golden Syrup, Garlic 7%, Sugar, Thickener (Modified Constarch), Honey 1.5%, Yeast Extract, Food Acid (Citric), Ginger
So 20% actual ingredients, 80% water and thickener…
Are you having chicken tonight??
