This is a Valentine's Day sale, but I ordered one at midday (WST) on 15/2/2019. No idea exactly when they'll pull the deal. They do come up regularly at 20% off. Search 'nura' on these forums for previous discussion. The link will tell you what makes these headphones different.

I really liked the sound, the app plays some weird noises at you to figure out what apparently sounds best which is pretty cool. I did get wildly different results on different days, and you weren't allowed to tune the settings yourself though. They were also crazy heavy, like the cups would change position when I was walking around so it was pretty much a train/plane/bus thing for me so I returned them. Comes in a nice case, although it's pretty big since they don't fold. That was the killer for me, I needed a backpack and couldn't use them everywhere. Oh and they also have a proprietary charging cable, and if you want a 3.5mm jack it's another $30 or something. And hitting the sensors to change tracks etc caused a lot of echo in my ear which was irritating.
YMMV, my colleague has one and loves it, but has a different set for walking around.
Thanks. Usually use Oppo Pm-3 for walking around. Have been trying to think of an excuse to try these for a while LOL. I also have QC25 if I want NC.
I think it's worth picking them up if you can spare the cash, they were really nice - I have a set of QC25s as well which have better NC and are more comfortable I think? It's been a while. Their return policy is pretty good, just post it back to them.
The shipping is free today, which you have to pay for on the normal referral I think. Largely agree, but I thought the spring-ear-thing was pretty nice.
I had a different experience:
Noise cancellation I find are on another level compared to my QC35 or the Sonys. I can barely hear the salesperson talking next to me without pulling off one of the cups from my ear. Bass is probably the best thing you will get on your ear without beind next to an actual subwoofer. The cups actually shake and thump with the bass.I didnt mind the ear canal since I'm on buds all day long at work anyway with my QC20s. They effectively add to the noise blocking when you add the ANC to it.
Great review, thanks Musique!
Bass was certainly lacking, didn't enjoy edm, dnb, harder styles
What the (profanity)? These are the single largest sounding bass I have ever heard in a headphone. It sends vibrations into your skull and it genuinely sounds like a completely seperate subwoofer.
They have a stall in QVB Sydney where you can try these headphones. Not sure about Melbourne
There's stall in Melbourne central
20% off is the norm for these given codes are around everywhere for this type of discount. The best is 25% off so far dropping it to $350 mark..
Oh, that looks like a good deal, but the headphones I paid less than 30 pounds for are pretty good, too. Here they are:https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192750455253
Well, if anyone's out there…
I got mine yesterday. Lots of little things to complain about, but the music… wow. I have a very significant hearing loss and I was not really expecting them to work for me but they do. If it's a gimmick, it's a very very clever one. I agree with Diji1 on the bass. If you crank up the immersion, the bass will rattle your teeth.
Anyone with high end cans tried these? I have anyways been interested in the Tech, but having HD800S, P7, PM-3 etc; think they might be a bit of a novelty and gather dust…
