There are differing opinions on the ones from Kogan and COTD being grey imports and of different quality. I have purchased from both these online stores and didn’t notice a difference in feel, but they didn’t last as long, this might be due to other factors, so can’t prove either way.

Just to add to this - there are three main types of running shoe. Stability, support, and neutral. Most people will be neutral. A small percentage will need stability control because they overpronate and a smaller percentage need support because they underpronate.
Do they charge for this service? I've always wondered while walking past!
I don't believe they do. It's just the awkwardness when you turn around and say you'll think about it and come back later (ie. buy elsewhere).

Ozbargain, why the obsession with Asis Gel Kayano? For the last 5 years, the only sneaker specials I have seen posted are for Gel Kayanos. I have some Minuzos purchased several years ago (I think from Amazon via a shipping forwarder) and am very happy with them.
Heads up you should probably go to athletes foot and test what's best for you before buying. There's 2 main type of running shoes, stability and support. I bought these just thinking they were good because of their reputation but didn't realise that i needed a stability shoe (these are support). Even a $80 pair of stability shoes feel better than these to me.
