  • What is the shipping cost to Australia? Can you include it in the title

    • It currently says free shipping, but I will add it to my cart and go into Paypal to see what surcharges there are.

      edit:

      Standard Delivery £1.95
      International Recorded Delivery £7.95

The title looks like crap, going to have to shorten it.

    • myMemory has £1.95 delivery worldwide. I was just about to ask op to put that it title too…

  • what would be the best flash drive to pick up with this promo? looking for a good combo of capacity and speed. any suggestions…?

  • Pretty sure a couple of days back COTD was having these exactly the same Kingston CF cards on sale, for a 16GB one it's $34.95 and 32GB was at $60+ (excluding shipping). I thought it was only an okay deal as no one really bought any (so that item stayed as 'bite me' from day 1 to the end).

If you can wait for the next Catchathorn or Technothorn on COTD, you should be able to find them again.

    • Sure it wasnt class 2 or 4 cards on cotd?

      • Sure it advertised as Class 10. I was tempted to buy at that price but seen the item stayed forever at "bite me" - kind of a 'caution' to me… or may be it was just not discovered by bargain hunters? Or is it just a normal price if all other prices given by staticice are inflated?

  • bought one card plus some pink sennheisers for 12pound to give me some street cred

  • This card is class 6

    http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC/Kingston/Kingston-16GB-Ultima…

but the read/write speeds given is 2x that of the class 10 card above.

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/43853

    Am confused.

    • me 2 >_<

  • Ordered one…extract from invoice:
    Kingston 16GB Ultimate X SD Card (SDHC) 100X - Class 10 G2 1 £17.59 (includes 20% discount)

    Sub-Total:
    £17.59
    Postage:
    £1.95
    Total
    £19.54

Class 10 clearly identified on invoice.

    • same for me. great deal thanks op.

      Edit:
But can someone please tell me why Class 6 16gb has better read write speed than Class 10 16 gb

      Class 6 16gb
      http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC/Kingston/Kingston-16GB-Ultima…
      Read Speed: 20MB/s
      Write Speed: 20MB/s
      Speed Rating: 100X

      Class 10 16 gb
      http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC/Kingston/Kingston-16GB-Ultima…
      Read Speed: 10MB/s
      Write Speed: 10MB/s
      Speed Rating: 100X

      • Doesn't mean class simply mean the minimum guarantee write speed it can manage? Being the minimum, it can surely go up, but not down..

        • You are right but still the 20MB/s for the class 6 seems to be wrong.
Here are the official specs from Kingston website.

SpaceNinja is right, its a typo. The Kingston Website says the Class 6 has a 15Mb/s Read speed (does not state write speed), whereas the class 10 has a read speed of 15Mb/s and a write speed of 20Mb/s. The Kingston website does not state the min. data transfer rate of the Class 6 (presumably its 6Mb/s), but it states that the min. data of the Class 10 is 10Mb/s. Nowhere does it say on the class 6 page anything about 20Mb/s, dunno where they got that from! Hope this helps!

  • Thanks, good deals, bought two Kingston SD 32GB Class 10 for $138 delivered, that's less than $70 each which is a very good price I think

  • Can someone please provide some insight?

Is the Kingston 16GB Micro SD (SDHC) Class 4 appropriate for 720p recording? Looking at getting a new smartphone and just wanted to see if a class 4 is sufficient for 720p.
    http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC/Kingston/Kingston-16GB-…

    • not sure about class 4 but i was recommended to use class 6 for DSLR on shooting raw and HD video recording.

    • 720p on a smartphone will be fine. might also be fine for DSLR< but safter to go with Class 6 if you use an sort of non Smartphone 720p recording.

  • Thanks got a 16gb micro SD and SD for my phone and camera.

  • ***Bummer .. most Kingston Compact Flash are out of stock … ***
