    Coles Express in Melbourne is offensively expensive compared to every other petrol outlet I have ever seen that is proximate to one. I don't even collect the Coles 4c dockets anymore.

        depend where you live, I live in the northen suburb, the Coles Express stations I drive pass are normal on par or 4 cents dearer, but they are always the first ones to put the price up when the cycle of fuel price finishes.

          Similar in Yarraville (which was still 108c a few weeks ago when it went up to 130c) and Port Melbourne on the freeway near the Westgate (which competes with United). Also Flemington had 117 last i filled up last week.

      Well, I have been living in Canberra. The price differential between Cole$ and Costco is obscene there. It doesn't appear to be as excessive here in Melbourne - but you're pretty much on the money with your disdain for these muppets.

      Same near me in Sydney - Shell/Coles express fuel is consistently more (even after dockets) and they aren't fooling me with the premium pricing strategy

    My offer is 10 cents and keep getting them. Only unable to use as Coles always dearer (real shame) than Woolworths ie bowser price almost 10 cents and also get 5% anyway as well when use gift cards. In newspaper said Coles is meant to reduce petrol pricing next month as distributer is taking control of pricing (we will see though, as pricing currently is rubbish even with these offers!)

    Close to me there are a Coles and Woolworths petrol stations next to each other. Even with Coles been 10 cents more, people love that feeling of getting 4 cents off. Coles approach must be working cause they aren’t walking away from this….. and people wonder why the world is in a tail spin!

    Had 10c off last 2 times. Only been worth using on the last day both times (price dropped to 114 minus 10c+4c. Happy with that.
    Pity you cant use coles egift cards though.
